The Run for the Promise Gala

The Run for the Promise is N.C. Children’s Hospital’s annual gala. Held in conjunction with the Kentucky Derby, also known as the “Run for the Roses,” Run for the Promise designed to raise awareness and support for the hospital in a unique and fun environment. Highlights include:

•    A silent and live auctions featuring an array of wonderful items, including signed sports memorabilia and travel and entertainment packages
•    Delicious food and cocktails fitting with the Derby theme
•    Special entertainment that will make guests feel young at heart again (lawn games, blue grass music, etc.)
•    Live viewing of the Kentucky Derby on big screens throughout the venue
•    Musical entertainment throughout the day and evening

Our sixth annual Gala will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Governors Club in Chapel Hil. In addition to the new venue, this year's Gala is offering discount tickets for those bought in pairs and an opportunity to play Governors Club's members-only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at a special event called Playing With a Purpose.
