Pinwheels and Promises

Pinwheels and Promises is a luncheon series that gives supporters an opportunity to introduce N.C. Children’s Hospital to their friends, family and colleagues. Captains fill a table of guests, who are treated to lunch and a dynamic program filled with true stories from the Children’s Hospital.

The first Pinwheels and Promises luncheon was held November 9, 2006, in Chapel Hill as an opportunity to raise awareness within the Chapel Hill community to raise awareness and financial support for the N.C. Children’s Hospital. Over 240 guests attended the, raising close to $50,000 for the hospital.

Since that inaugural luncheon, Pinwheels and Promises has visited other venues throughout the Triangle and other areas of the state, including Fayetteville, Greensboro, Raleigh and Wilmington. Attendees are not asked to pay for lunch, only to consider making a contribution to the hospital.
