The N.C. Children's Promise Radio/Telethon
The N.C. Children's Promise Radiothon/Telethon is UNC Health Care's largest single fundraising event each year. With help from broadcast partners Curtis Media Group and Time Warner Cable, this signature fall event raises funds to benefit children’s programs and further support the continuation of excellence within the medical and surgical programs housed at N.C. Children’s Hospital at UNC.
2011's 10th anniversary N.C. Children's Promise Radio/Telethon raised more than $1,000,000—a total made all the more poignant by the economic hardships that many currently face. We'll be back to raise more in 2012, so please mark your calendars now for Thursday, November 15, 2012. Listen. Watch. Pledge!
Meet the Real "Stars" of the Show
What's the annual N.C. Children's Promise Radiothon/Telethon really about? Well, it's about N.C. Children's Hospital's patients and the people who love them, of course. There's no better way to understand that than to see their personal stories of hope and courage.
