The Wish Book
The Wish Book offers a list of child-focused items that N.C. Children's Hospital supporters can fund to provide our patients some fun and distraction during their hospital stays. The items are grouped by price point, beginning at less than $10, and include gifts for children of all ages and even some options for families.
You may additionally download the Wish Book in PDF format or email us your mailing address to receive a hard copy by mail. You can also call the N.C. Children's Promise at 919.843.3948 and request that a copy be mailed to you.

How do I donate to the Children's Hospital's Wish Book?
If you request a copy by mail, the Wish Book includes a donation form and remittance envelope. For your convenience, the donation form is also available for download. If you prefer to donate online, please type "Wish Book" in the comments section under "Additional Information," and provide a list of the specific items you'd like to purchase.
May I personally purchase Wish Book items and deliver them to the Children's Hospital?
Unfortunately, our limited staff resources and the logistical coordination required to accommodate requests of this nature prohibit us from allowing our supporters to purchase their own items. Please keep in mind, too, the Children's Hospital is a tax-exempt organization, which means most of our Wish Book purchases can be made tax-free. Purchasing your items through the Children's Promise ensures your monetary donation can be stretched to do as much good as possible.
May I make a Wish Gift gift in tribute to someone else?
Yes, the Wish Book donation form makes it very easy to make a gift in honor, in memory, or in appreciation of the person of your choice. Just complete the appropriate fields on the form.
Are donations to the Wish Book tax deductible?
Yes, as with every donation you make to the N.C. Children's Promise, you will receive a tax receipt acknowledging your contribution.
